This is an old example but still a goody. Walk around a gallery of Picasso's work, all through a webpage. Possible configuration options include the ability to add your own pictures, design the gallery itself, and even have an e-commerce purchase option to order prints. It doesn't take too much stretching of the imagination to see how similar visualisations could be used for advertising or social networking.
