This example shows a variant on the Web 3D Configurator which allows the customer to buy advertising space. Tracing Tea were to embark on an exhibition across India tracing the origins and history of tea. They were to do all this in Tuk Tuks (little motorised pedi-cabs). Before they set off on their journey they needed to sell advertising space on the Tuk Tuks and this is where we were called upon.We created a configurator that allowed a customer to choose an area on the Tuk Tuk in 3D and upload their advert directly onto the Tuk Tuk. Once the customer was happy, they would purchase the advert and it would not only appear on the actual Tuk Tuk but also on the virtual 3D one on the website. Each virtual advert would link to a customer website, increasing the value of the advert.
